About the Co-Chairs
Elissa Kirchner is married to Christopher, who grew up in Baldwin. She and Christopher moved to Baldwin in 2003 and they have raised three sons, two of whom are in Baldwin High School and one in the Middle School. She also has a rescue dog and two rescue cats in the family. Elissa retired from her career in the veterinary world and is now pursuing her other passion of helping the mentally challenged. She has been an active member of the Beautification Committee since the BCA began. She adopted a block, held story and craft times for children in the Community Garden, and has been responsible for numerous plantings around our amazing town. She wishes to continue the wonderful work that Rita Cavanagh started and looks forward to working with co-chair Matthew to continue present beautification projects as well as to bring other wonderful things to our community.
Matt Ponsot and his wife Patricia moved to beautiful Baldwin in 2005. Matthew enjoys a lifelong passion for music, art, and nature. An ardent supporter of the Community Garden, he never passes up an opportunity to add color and life to Baldwin’s palette.
