First Baldwin Arts Festival

July 17, 2021

The BCA’s first Baldwin Summer Arts Festival will be held on Saturday, July 17, from 11:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M. at the Baldwin Community Garden, 1980 Grand Ave, Baldwin (behind the Baldwin Historical Society Museum). The event will feature over twenty artists and craftspeople representing a variety of media.

In addition to the crafts, three live musical acts will be playing during the afternoon. Guitarist and singer Matt Ponsot will perform, as will the Toby Tobias Ensemble and the Luke Waldron Jazz Trio. Three food trucks, including from S&T Smokehouse BBQ and The No Good Burger Joint, will be on hand to provide delicious food, drinks, and desserts.

With the pandemic receding, residents can enjoy a taste of normalcy in a beautiful setting that has been developed as a BCA project over the past seven years. State safety guidelines in place at the time will be implemented at the event. In case of severely inclement weather, the rain date is July 24. A $1.00 suggested donation is requested from attendees to help defray expenses.Type your paragraph here.

Volunteers Needed: The BCA is seeking six individuals who can help at the Summer Arts Festival. Volunteers can help with admissions and to support set-up and closing of the event. We are also seeking individuals to donate crafts to sell at the BCA booth.
