AfroFest Vendor Registration
The Baldwin Civic Association is hosting AfroFest Baldwin on Saturday, September 7, 2019, from 2:00–7:00 P.M. at the Baldwin Community Garden, 1980 Grand Avenue, Baldwin, NY. (Raindate is Sunday, September 8, 2:00-7:00 P.M.) This will be a day of celebration and entertainment, using dance, music, art, crafts, clothes, food, vendors, sights, sounds and education to highlight elements of African and African Diaspora cultures. Attendees will learn the connection between things that we enjoy today in America and the African traditions, customs, and culture that were brought to this land by the diaspora.
We are seeking vendors of various types who wish to avail themselves of this sales opportunity! To register:
Spaces are 10' x 10'. Vendors may begin setting up at 1:00 P.M. the day of the festival. Vendors will be directed to their spaces when they arrive. The festival will be held outdoors in an unpaved area. Although vehicles are not allowed in the festival area, you can unload items at the edge of the area, and parking is close by. Vendors are responsible for bringing and setting up tables, chairs, and any sun awnings. No electricity will be provided. Vendors are responsible for leaving their space in the same condition as they found it. Baldwin Civic Association, Inc. reserves the right to choose the vendors who can participate. Baldwin Civic Association, Inc. will not be responsible for any liability, lost or stolen or damaged merchandise, or any injury incurred during the festival. In case weather forces the rain date to be used, vendors are expected to participate on that date. No registration fees will be refunded in case of a rain date.
